Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky demonstrated for us in his address to Congress the difference between mere external power — the kind exhibited by Russian President Vladimir Putin — and authentic power.

Mr. Putin seeks only to manipulate and control. In Mr. Zelensky, we see an alignment of goals, personality and the human values of peace and reverence for life. That's authentic power, and it always prevails.
