Dear Editor:
Hooray, News Tribune! I am referring to your headline and story of March 30 which reminded us that you were still open for business (if not for a lot of visitors). Your declaration of intent to keep operating in spite of the coronavirus threat is a comfort to us all. I think I can speak for this community in declaring my gratitude for your willingness to keep operating in spite of less than ideal circumstances. Without your publication we would have a more difficult time keeping up with world events and with knowing what actions to take to best protect ourselves and others.
With many other businesses and services closing down these days it has been a great pleasure to always find the Tribune waiting for us in the driveway. I sincerely hope all of you at the paper can remain healthy and uninfected. It may not be easy and if conditions force you to cease publication for a time, I would understand. You are our strength in a time of great trouble. Bless all of you at the Jefferson City News Tribune.
