Cancel culture is working in Waukegan. We’re changing the names of two schools. Thomas Jefferson, one of the founders of our American government and our independence, they’re changing the school’s name to Michelle and Barack Obama. They are wonderful people, but what are we going to change next, the name of the city of Waukegan? Waukegan is a Native American name. We should change the name of Waukegan, but what are we going to do? We can’t cancel out history. Do we need to include and add history? Yes. We should teach history through history.
