To RHS from Oak Forest. You think that the supposedly radical Democrat somehow obstructing drilling for more oil in this country is committing treason? No, treason is when you conspire in a coup d’etat to overthrown fair and free elections and encourage your followers to storm a Capitol, fight hand to hand with guards, commit property destruction, harm police officers. That is treason and don’t forget it. Republicans should never forget it, as much as they’re trying to bury it.

Inspired Trump-haters have used innuendo to link former President Donald Trump to Putin and John Gotti. Here are facts they don’t like. Under Obama-Biden, Putin took Crimea. No effective response. Under Trump, Putin made no incursions into any of his neighbors and was confronted with his aid to Assad’s Syria. Under Biden-Harris, after the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, Putin was emboldened to mass his army along Ukraine’s border. While one may argue Biden took all the correct steps, every step has been too late to be effective. As a result, Putin invaded Ukraine resulting in deaths of thousands, displaced millions and untold destruction to many cities.

It seems Tinley Park Mayor Michael Glotz wanted to take the law in to his own hands. Glotz needed to let law enforcement handle it and let them do their job and not use his clout as mayor. No other citizen would have been able to do what Glotz did. He could have screwed up the whole investigation. His actions reflected on the taxpayers of Tinley Park. To act the way that he did is a total abuse of power and I believe having a baseball bat in his car could be considered a deadly weapon.

Why does the Tribune continue to publish opinion pieces by the far left St. Louis Post Dispatch? The most recent article attacks Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida for his so-called war with Disney over the recently passed Parental Rights in Education bill, which the Post Dispatch inaccurately calls the don’t say gay bill. Why should innocent children as young as 5, 6 and 7 be taught about sexual matters of any nature? Arguing for secular government and woke corporations, like Disney, rather than parents to determine curriculum for lower grade students usurps the parental right of choice.
